To cancel your automatic RPOAC dues deduction from your CalPERS retirement check, you need to follow the steps listed below:

 

email RPOAC at rpoac1@yahoo.com, OR send them a letter by US mail to PO BOX 1239, Colfax CA, 95713. Advise them in the correspondence to stop your automatic dues deduction from your CalPERS retirement check, effective immediately

AND

send a copy of the correspondence to PORAC Headquarters at membership@PORAC.org or by US mail to 4010 Truxel Road, Sacramento, CA 95834

 If you do this correspondence prior to June 1, 2009, the deduction should be stopped by your July 1, 2009 retirement check.

 

PORAC will follow up on these requests after you receive your May 1, 2009 retirement check.
