The City of Santa Monica is seeking a team leader to join our organization.  Position is responsible for the day-to-day security operations of the Airport Services Unit and supervision of assigned staff. Requires: Graduation from high school or the equivalent.  Completion of 30 semester units or the equivalent of college-level coursework in general education from an accredited college or university.  Three (3) years of recent, paid work experience in law enforcement, airport or other transportation security or similar position.  At least two (2) years of the recent, paid work experience must have included supervising or coordinating and leading the work of others or successful completion of the City of Santa Monica’s Pre-Supervisory Academy and one (1) year of leading and coordinating the work of others at the time of application.  Possession of a valid Class C driver license.
