The Group Long Term
Disability Plan protects you against loss of income when you are
disabled and can’t work. The LTD Plan covers disabilities resulting
from injury, illness, or pregnancy. This protection is for both on and
off the job.

BASIC AD&D BENEFIT
The Insurance and
Benefits Trust of PORAC provides a basic Accidental Death &
Dismemberment benefit of $5,000 on-duty, and $1,000 off-duty, to those
members who apply. No evidence of insurability required for this
coverage. If you participate in any of the following insurance programs,
the basic AD&D benefit will be increased as indicated below:
$ 5,000 On-Duty, $1,000
Off-Duty - If participating in PORAC LTD
$ 5,000 On-Duty, $1,000
Off-Duty - If participating in PORAC Blue Cross Medical
$ 5,000 On-Duty, $1,000
Off-Duty - If participating in PORAC Supplemental AD&D Plan
