PORAC ENDORSES STATEWIDE CANDIDATES
After the June 2006 Primary PORAC had open seats for Controller and Secretary of State. The Board of Directors met on August 4, 2006 and interviewed the remaining candidates for these seats. Previously the Board of Directors interviewed and selected candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, Treasurer, Insurance Commissioner, and Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Board of Directors interviews candidates for statewide officers who have an interest in obtaining the PORAC endorsement. The process is designed to select the candidates that will best support the interests of PORAC. Please continue to check the PORAC website for more information on these candidates as well as those seeking seats in the State Senate and Assembly.
