	PORAC’s 56th ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF MEMBERS The Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) will be holding our 56th Annual Conference of Members in Monterey, California, November 20 -23, 2008 (Vendor Dates: 11/20 & 11/21). We will be hosted by the Monterey Conference Center and we plan on having a great venue this year.    PORAC is making some changes in the way we configure the Exhibitor area, show times and benefits to the exhibitors.  Please see the attached schedule, which will show you the new times for the exhibit hall and please note that we will conduct delegate registration in the exhibitor area.  We are going to have some new and exciting draws for the exhibit hall that will increase the traffic.    The exhibitor fee for this year is $750.00, which will include two (2) name badges.  Each additional person in your booth will cost an additional $120.00 per badge.  Badges will be required at all times for all participants, NO EXCEPTIONS.  Each badge issued will include the special Monterey Bay Aquarium Night on Thursday, November 20th at the conclusion of your exhibit hours – and the usual Friday night Exhibitor Hospitality.  Your badge will not include the Installation Dinner; however individual tickets for the Dinner as well as Adult/Child Aquarium tickets can be purchased on site or before.  Please call Barbara for more information on purchasing Dinner/child aquarium tickets: 800-937-6722.               Booth space will be assigned based on when application and payment are received.  We are sending this advance mailing to all vendors who participated in last year’s conference first.  On August 20th we will send out letters to other vendors and people who have inquired about exhibiting this year for the first time.  If you have not responded by August 20th you will not be on the preferred list of vendors and you will be on a first come first served basis with the other vendors.  We look forward to seeing you in Monterey, CA.    Sincerely, Carol A.
